Porthkidney Suite, Carbis Bay, St Ives, free parking, near beach

Great room, the bed was super comfy and the shower was great. Lovely neighbourhood, only a 15-minute walk to the beach. The hosts were responsive, attentive and courteous. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Location was fantastic, within walking distance of Carbis Beach and St Ives

My only reservation was the owner was landscaping their garden during our stay. They did inform us a day before our arrival and kindly let us charge our car for free as a goodwill gesture. We had great weather the two nights we stayed, it was a shame, after 2 long days out, that we couldn’t sit and enjoy a bottle of wine in their garden. Personally, they might have been better off not releasing it at a time when they were undertaking work. Having said that, they will have a lovely garden for future customers to enjoy! 😊

Property is easy to find. The room was lovely, comfortable and clean with everything you need. Good location just a short taxi ride to St Ives. We had a lovely meal at Pedn Olva with sea views. Good value for money

It was modern , very clean great location for beach walk

A home away from home! What a little gem this was, everything was perfect. Clean and a comfortable bed, spacious and modern, there was plenty of space for clothes and toiletries. Excellent shower and the garden was a bonus. I could make a mug of tea and step out to sit in the sun in a little green space. Nights were quiet as it is a calm neighbourhood. The location is superb, 15 minute walk to the South West Coast Path with stunning walks to cliffs and a choice of amazing beaches. 2 mins to buses to St Ives and 10 mins to the trains so you could easily visit without a car. For vegans, The Bean Inn is just around the corner and there are several other good restaurants within walking distance. I didn't meet the hosts but they were in touch throughout checking everything was ok and I really appreciated that. I will definitely visit again!
