Our family really enjoyed our stay here. The house was spotless and beautiful, very comfortable and cosy, and lovely view from the balcony. Lots of thought went into preparing this holiday home. Contains all the comforts from home, well stocked kitchen and little comfy extras like throw blankets for those chilly nights in. The Christmas tree was lovely also, really felt like a home away from home. Would highly recommend this place to anyone. Also walking distance to pubs restaurants and shops, loved every minute of our stay here. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Cosy, comfortable, clean apartment. Stones throw from the windermere high St. You wouldn't know pets stay here it's that clean and fresh. The views are spectacular and plenty of dog walks as soon as you open the front door. The host has literally thought of everything so of you forget say your dog bowl or shower gels they are there. Ready to use. Honestly loved this stay so much we can't wait to come back. Such a spacious place, loved the living diner.

From outside the property looks very plain but we were not disappointed! The apartment is absolutely beautiful- furnished & decorated so tastefully throughout. I am quite particular & it felt like a home from home. Julie has thought of every detail. Gorgeous view and an ideal location. We loved being a 10 minute walk down to the lovely town with its many shops and eateries. We particularly enjoyed Jackson’s Bistro - excellent food & hosts. We will be back to Lake View Retreat

Apartment just as described/pictures. Very well equipped (think bits like foil, oil, salt/pepper, makeup remover pads). Beautiful view of the lake, very private. The owner responded to our messages very quickly. Will be staying here again as we come to Windermere every year.

Absolutely stunning apartment. Everything provided. Easy access. Driveway for the car. 10 minute walk into Bowness. The property was warm, very clean and tidy. Beds were comfy. Lounge has stunning views over Windermere. Would highly recommend a stay here

We spent two very pleasant days here. Julia is a very friendly person. Not only did they prepare gifts for us, but they also extended checkout time for us! Trust me, this is a choice you won't regret.
