Very close to the beach, apartment has everything you need.

At first Paul seemed like a friendly host. The first night, we received 3 calls, late in the evening from him telling us that we “walk too loud”. Haven’t heard that one before in six years of travelling. The apartment is poorly insulated, so will get very warm during the day and is very loud at night (a lot of traffic on road outside). Curtains don’t do a good job of keeping light out neither. The driveway is very small as well, not ideal for parking. During our stay Paul decided to shut off the AC system from outside and told us to open the windows (“as it was cold enough outside”) never had a host make decisions for me, definitely wasn’t a big fan of that. After repeatedly asking to turn it back on, he just simply ignored my messages. Very unprofessional. We definitely will not be back.

Had everything we needed for a weekend stay. Loved how close it was to the beach.

The road noise was a bit annoying but we got used to it.

Lovely location and Paul was very personable

The location was perfect for walking down to the beach and easy access to all of Ohope beach and Host Paul encouraged us to use the sunporch looking out to the ocean. Paul and Lee were wonderful Hosts and made us very welcome. The Unit had everything we needed and all very clean and tidy. Lovely stay at this place.

The bed! Squeaky bed was annoying

Location, very close to the beach. Tidyness, the place was very clean and we enjoyed being there.

The road traffic was relatively loud, if you are a light sleeper I would suggest earplugs.
