Church St. Retreat, Filey

It is a beautifully kitted out flat with everything you want. The welcome hamper certainly exceeded any I have had elsewhere. A great place to relax in. The flat is warm and comfortable, very well located within easy walk of the shops, the seafront etc. The hosts were very quick to reply both before and during the stay. Thank you.

The flat itself was excellent, just one word of warning which nobody else has mentioned so obviously not an issue for others. However I go to bed very early and had to move from the double bedroom which is opposite the pub to the back bedroom which was very quiet. But had I been there with others I might not have been able to do so. But if you are up late then it won't bother you.

Revived details of how to use the keypad so no keys needed. On arrival we were greeted with a wonderful basket of goodies which included loaf of bread, a bottle of fizz, sticks of rock, local biscuits and of course sweets for the kids. The fridge had milk so we could enjoy a cuppa when we arrived there was also a pack of butter and bottled water in the fridge. Lovely decorated modern property very clean, with everything you could possibly need in a holiday let. Not far from all local amenities and beach. Hosts have thought of everything for you. You won’t be disappointed if book to stay here.

Nothing to not like in fact the kids did not want to leave.

Absolutely fantastic gem of a flat. Everything done to a high standard, like a home away from home. So clean, very comfy beds, immaculate abthroom, smelt amazing in every room, quite, close to absolutely everything, lots of games, books and films for the kids which was brilliant on the one rainy day we had. The welcome basket of goodies on arrival was such a lovely touch and enjoyed throughout the week. We liked it that much whilst we were there we rebooked again for December for a birthday mini break! Massive pat on the back to the owners, an absolutely gem and we will be coming back again and again fingers crossed!!

If I was going to moan about anything and trust me there isn't anything to moan about. There isn't any cupboard space for food you buy to bring back to the flat (but that is because they supply you with everything you need for your stay)

Lovely place- beautifully decorated. I had such a lovely time that while I was there I booked another stay for a few weeks later. Hosts were very prompt at responding to communication.

Only one slight issue was that the kettle needed cleaning inside, as had lots of limescale build-up, but that was only a minor thing- not a big deal really.

We absolutely loved the place. It's brilliant, clean, comfortable, everything you need is there. Attention to detail is exceptional. Looking forward to staying there again.

It’s decor is really lovely, comfortable and relaxing. Facilities were good and in the case of any problems the owners were always available and ready to help.

The storage facilities in the kitchen were nonexistent except for the fridge as every cupboard and drawer were full. Couldn’t reach wine glasses. Stayed with a friend. Main bedroom was ok but twin room has nowhere to put your clothes.
