Colombo 07 Charming Home Stays

It's a very beautiful home. Everything is clean, the bed is comfortable, and the water pressure is just amazing. The location is also quite central.

Jak większość osób odwiedzających Sri Lankę, na start zatrzymaliśmy się w Kolombo. Musieliśmy przed dalszą podróżą zrobić zakupy i załatwić kilka formalności, a lokalizacja tego miejsca jest do tego idealna. Sam pokój przewyższył nasze oczekiwania – był duży, przestronny, z wygodnym łóżkiem i moskitierą. Rano dostaliśmy pyszne śniadanie. Mówiąc o wszystkich plusach tego miejsca, nie sposób nie wspomnieć o właścicielce, która jest bardzo serdeczną i pomocną osobą. Wzięliśmy taxi z lotniska i mieliśmy pewne wątpliwości co do intencji kierowcy. Gdy Gayathri się o tym dowiedziała, bardzo zaangażowała się, żeby nam pomóc, i widziałam, że naprawdę zrobi wszystko, abyśmy bezpiecznie dotarli na miejsce.

It feels like a home, I loved the room with the books and the living room was also very nice. The room I had was very comfortable and cute. Everything was clean and tidy, also plus for great water pressure. Quiet neighborhood which is gated at night time so felt very safe. Location is great for exploring Colombo. I liked it so much I came back and stayed again! Would highly recommend. Gayathri is also super kind and we had some nice chats 💛

Cómodo e agradável.

Really clean spacious number, beautiful white and quiet. With wide library, balconу, differet lights. And there was a hot water!! Owner of the hotel is interesting & kind person, she helped us with early check-in, gave recommendations about what to see in Colombo. In total: very safe place for staying with any company or by yourself. We were impressed:)

The check-in process was smooth, and Gayathri made us feel very welcome. The area is lovely and quiet, and within walking distance of Independence Square. The number of books they have is a delight for any book lover!

Breakfast was very limited (but very delicious), and there was no room service for the 3 nights we were there. It would've been good to have had a housekeeping service at least once during our stay.

Great value for the price. Located in a quiet neighborhood, only a 15-minute tuk-tuk ride to the center of Colombo. The host was very friendly and approachable, and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The room was clean and tidy. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and affordable stay in Colombo.

Die Besitzerin hat uns im Vorfeld freundlich kontaktiert und Hinweise zur Anreise gegeben. Das Homestay liegt in einer sicheren Wohngegend. Die Straße ist bewacht und mit einer Schranke gesichert. Das Zimmer und das Bad war sauber. Es gab Möglichkeiten Tee und Kaffee zuzubereiten (kleine Küchenzeile im Zimmer). Zudem stand ein Fön und ein Bügeleisen zur Verfügung. Wir mussten sehr früh abreisen, daher können wir zum Frühstück nichts sagen.
