"Nice smelling sheets"

7.0

Comfortable bed nice smelling sheets. The property needs a proper dining table. Only one large sofa is needed to arrange a good table. Thanks

"A great find in a great position."

8.0

A warm welcome awaits at the Sea breeze.. The ground floor studio was well equipped with everything and more you could wish for and spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable. Well positioned and parking available (not sure if this is the case in high season) Only one minor criticism the shower didn't have .much power to it. However this would not deter us from visiting again in the future

Lack of power in the shower.

"Good little studio and perfect location but needs a little work"

8.0

The location of the studio was absolutely perfect for us a 15 minutes walk from the train station and 5 minutes from the centre and to the beach which was perfect as we had our dog with us. Deborah was a very kind host and easy to communicate with via text offering an early check in for us and late check out. The studio had everything you would need, spare blankets, storage, comfy sofas, lots of space and a good space throughout, it didn't feel too cramped at all.

We did find that we had to spray down the kitchen countertops, toilet and bathroom sink as there were spills and marks. The studio was very tidy but seemed that nothing had had a super good clean over beforehand. It didn't take much to do so was just a small thing. Upon bagging up the towels and bedding which we knew about before booking the studio this was stated in the rules due to COVID regulations however this isn't the case anymore and I have to admit it the made the stay feel a little uninviting as a final touch. The space outside was accessible for our dog being fenced off and private however not very dog friendly which I think should be updated on the listing. There were glass panels on the floor in the garden and broken glass at the bottom of the garden and rusty screws in the grassy area. The pictures listed show a much tidier space. We took our dog over to the park adjacent rather than him being outside at night. Our dog found cut up packets of aspirin tablets inside the garden at night (neither me or my partner take aspirin) and were told we were the only ones in the house) and he managed to ingest one and so going forward I would hope the space is monitored and kept much cleaner than it was during our stay.

"Mmmmmm, bit odd, but, twenty minutes before we had to be out we were told we could stay till 12. After two sleep deprive"

6.0

We’ve been to st Anne’s many times. Great spot. Great for dogs. At the time easy parking, but a tad hard to find first attempt. Pleasant host.

Courtyard was slippy. Dark on entry at night, needed a light. Smelled a bit musky, old building so no real problem. Beds were like concrete and tiny. It’s was cold at night despite portable heater. Fridge was intrusive at night coming on and off. Flashed at the back, I think that was because the plug was hanging out the socket. I pushed it in so hopefully ok now. It did wake us both up however. The cups n saucers we used needed washing. Couldn’t find a dish cloth or kitchen roll. Never had to strip the beds down before and bag them up, also the bath towels. Spoiled it a bit, felt like a cleaner on leaving.
