This was a last minute booking as we needed to be near the hospital and this fitted the bill. What a splendid choice the Shepherds Hut turned out to be. Beautifully furnished, everything and more supplied for an extremely comfortable stay. Very quiet area. A comprehensive info book which was great. Off road parking was a real bonus.

We really could not find any faults.

Hosts were very friendly and so helpful! The room was lovely and so clean, they sent us recommendations of places to go which is always appreciated. Its a good distance from the city centre about a 10 minute drive. The only issue is it is quite hilly and my car doesn't like hills!! Amazing place would recommend!

So cosy, a little more spacious that I thought it would be in the main living area. The bathroom is small of course but the shower is a very good size considering. But in spite of all that, the hut is packed with more than enough stuff! More than I expected and even needed. The snacks provided by Jen were such a nice gesture and such a pleasant host. And the information on local restaurants and walks etc. were incredibly helpful. Can’t praise this enough. I had such a perfect stay for my first time in the area!

Everything you could want was there and some lovely extras. Great communication with the owner . Enjoyed the comfy stay .

Somewhere to be outside but as the weather wasn’t good it was not an issue for us .
