Stunning Apartment at Glasgow Hydro & SECC - Glasg

The appt is close to the convention center and the music hall and on walking distance from the center. For us ideal, but if you would like to be in the citycenter than it may not be that perfect. The beds were really good, kitchen well equipped, good coffeemachine, fast internet and large television with all modern facilities. The bedrooms are located at the back of the building at the inner court which is really quiet.

The bathroom and kitchen island need an update.

everything was great, communication was good, coffee machine was a welcome bonus in the apartment. beds very comfortable, good quality kitchen stuff. location near the hydro arena ideal and good bars and restaurants in the area

A couple of very small issues, there was a draft coming in the glass doors, and the lockbox was tricky to find in the dark.

Beautiful spacious apartment with everything you need in it, Also a great location to the Hydro and the city center.

The coffee was very tasty. :) In general apartment is nice, but in very poor quality made inside renovation or damaged by other guests.

We were at an event at the SEC, this was very handy for us. The living area was large and well appointed, plenty of space for the 4 of us. Quick response when we asked for some bath mats.

The apartment was a good size

The apartment block was tired and dirty. The entrance to the block had flaking paint and crumbling plaster where water had obviously got into the building. The carpets were disgustingly stained and split. The apartment itself was also tired. The side of the bath was rotten and unpleasant. The windows were absolutely filthy and there was an old radiator and paint pots left on the balcony. The mattresses were uncomfortable and the pillows poor quality. The hot water did not work. However, when reported to the owner, he was responsive and visited to investigate. He gave a £100 refund when it could not be fixed during our stay, which doesn't seem very much considering one bathroom was entirely out of action for the entire visit. There was also only one (stained) sofa in the apartment, which means that it is not possible for 4 people to sit comfortably.

Very spacious flat with two big bedrooms, one ensuite and a large bath in the other bathroom. Tastefully furnished with a decent kitchen. Parking space right outside. Easy check-in and check-out process, very clean on arrival, and the host was very quick to respond when I had a problem with the hot water on the first day. Bus stop very close by too.

None of the this is the host's fault, but the building and general area is pretty soulless, and not especially convenient for either central Glasgow or the West End. There is very little nearby. The flat is on the ground floor which means the bedroom windows are looked into from the car park, and the windows from the living room open straight onto the main road with everybody walking past (and the blinds aren't especially effective). The building also has fire wardens on duty 24hrs a day, one of whom sits almost directly outside the flat's front door, which is a little disconcerting (you can hear them cough from inside!).
