Quirky 1 bedroom barn on the river in Arundel

Everything, from Jane's excellent communication and attentiveness, to the barn itself... Quirky is the right word for all the right reasons. The location with the river view really is the icing on top.

Great location short walk to Arundel Castle Parking on site. Nice river bank walk from barn.

Very Heavily soiled & stained Mattress. After our complaint the owner promised to replace it for future guests.

Had everything you need amazing little barn I loved it , right on the river you could see the castle and the wetlands was within walking distance just loved sitting outside on the deck chairs so relaxing . Had a farmers market on the Saturday a cafe very close by had a lovely Indian meal in the royal Indian restaurant perfect stay. Thanks Jane

Very enjoyable stay, great location, 5 mins walk from Arundel Castle and restaurants. Secure parking for our car behind the gates. Lovely sitting outside both waterside and in the garden area. Highly recommended by us.

Nothing, everything was great.

The location is superb especially staying with our young dog. It certainly lives up to its name ‘quirky’ and we found it clean, homely and perfectly comfortable for our 3 night stay. A lovely bottle of wine to welcome us - lovely bedding, kitchen fully equipped for all our needs and secure parking is a huge bonus.

The balcony riverside & garden furniture needed a clean but with all the local wildlife, ducks and swans coming to say hello, understandable it gets a little messy. It certainly didn’t bother us just needed a quick tidy up.

Lack of tea towels, although I’m sure that was an oversight and the staircase!

This is the second time I've stayed here. It is a cosy little nest right beside the river opposite the castle with free parking for one car. I loved being able to sit at a table by the river whilst I worked on my laptop (the WiFi is great). At lunchtime I walked over the bridge to get a takeout from the Moathouse cafe. At the weekend I walked down to the wildfowl trust on Saturday. On Sunday there was an antiques fair in the main street with live music. The stairs to the bedroom are quite steep, so you need to be able bodied. The bed is really comfy and there is a balcony outside the bedroom where you get an even better view.
