The Lodge @ Pembroke

Es hat uns wirklich überwältigt. Das Chalet verfügt über alle Annehmlichkeiten für einen entspannten Aufenthalt. Alles ist nagelneu und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es ist total ruhig und man kann am Abend herrlich die Sterne beobachten. Farah ist eine wundervolle Gastgeberin. Sie hat uns nicht nur mit Informationen rund um das Haus versorgt, sondern auch mit Wissenswertem über Wellington. Eine ganz klare Empfehlung!

Very pretty bathroom, owner good communicator.

3 flights of steep stairs. Television mounted so high on wall hard to watch. All the walls are bare. Cute couch covered with an ugly cover (the kind of cover you put on if one hosted pets. Only one exit. Booking has address listed as Wellington but is actually located in Tawa. If you choose the Wellington address you will be directed to a totally different house. Location is still convenient but wasted an hour during rush hour trying to locate correct address.

Nice location short drive to Wellington. Beautiful lodging separate from the main building with its one terrace. Everything was very clean, the kitchen is well stocked. Beautiful bathroom with two windows a towel heater and an amazing shower. Also enjoyed having a washing machine available.

The only thing is that there is a steep incline and quite a few steps to climb to get to the accommodation.

Such a lovely, sunny spot with views over Tawa. A modern house, with a beautiful bathroom and comfy couches in the lounge. The house also had a really nice scent, and the property felt very private, even with it being behind the host's house. Sitting on the deck in the late afternoon sun was so relaxing. Excellent communication from host throughout the process.

Very minor detail but the TV is slightly too high on the wall in the lounge for comfortable viewing.

The nicely new all-in-one concept of having a self contained place to ourselves. Rooms were well appointed and tastefully furnished.

The bedding would need two soft pillows rather than the very large bulky ones that were there and a top sheet rather than the duvet to cover.

We liked the privacy of the accommodation and the spacious and modern facilities. There were some extra little touches added for our comfort such as nice coffee and snacks. The shower was enormous and good hot water flow. The kitchen facilities were all clean and in good condition and it was enjoyable staying there.

The steep stairs to carry our suitcase up.

Quality lodge with quality products i.e shampoo etc... good size lodge.. comfy couch and bed..quality bedding .shower was large and great.. overall great.. owner was great giving helpful information

I've stayed in hundreds of motels so this was one of the best just a few little issues will make it perfect It's probably a safe area but Kitchen needs a blind .. especially when kids are sleeping on the sofa bed so we had to put a towel up to feel safer... Shower needs a deep clean.. the grout and mould down bottom of shower but that should be a easy fix.. but the worst problem was the wind as the lodge is elevated so noise kept me up half the night.. sounded like a tornado 🌪 2 of the issues would be easy to fix and then i would have rated 9 out of 10..but not sure how to fix the wind and noise issue as the lodge is made from iron or tin?

It was cozy, clean and warm. A peaceful spot away from the hustle and bustle of Wellington
