Schönes Haus mit allem was man benötigt und genügend Platz für 2 Personen zu einem super Preis. Private hot tub mit schöner Aussicht nach einem isländischen Tag ist unschlagbar.

Wirklich alles hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Cottage selbst ist klein, aber sehr gemütlich gemacht und der Platz wird optimal genutzt. Kleine Küchenzeile, die für uns absolut ausreichend war mit allen Utensilien, die wir brauchten. Die Besitzer waren zufällig vor Ort und waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit (herzliche Grüße an Benedikt und Signy). Das Cottage liegt sehr abgelegen, der nächste (sehr kleine!) Ort Hólmavík ist ca 25 Minuten entfernt, man hat also absolute Ruhe. Die anderen Cottages auf dem Gelände sind so ca. 50m entfernt. Wers braucht, es gibt auch wlan. Absolut fantastisch: der hot tub, eine große Wanne auf der Terrasse, durch die dauerhaft Wasser aus einer heißen Quelle fließt. Das Wasser ist also immer sauber und es braucht keinen Strom, es ist einfach immer da. Wir haben in den zwei Tagen gefühlt 3 Stunden darin verbracht, die Temperatur regelt man, indem man den Zufluss aus der heißen Quelle einstellt. Wirklich, wirklich toll!

Cottage immerso nella natura. La casetta è molto piccola ma intima, con bagno privato e cucina, terrazzino con barbecue. La vasca di acqua calda privata è incredibile, un relax unico. Intorno, ma non vicini, qualche altro cottage, un torrente e solo natura. Ricordate di portarvi da mangiare perché in zona non c’è nulla.

The cabins are located in a perfect area for discovering the Westfjords. We arrived here very late, after normal check-in hours. It was very easy to find the site and locate our accommodation. The owner was excellent at communicating with us before our arrival and gave us simple instructions. Our cabin was the smallest one, but it was very quaint, and spotlessly clean. There was plenty of space between all cabins, giving you much needed privacy especially when wanting to use the external hot tub. The bed was very comfy and the black-out curtains were a very welcomed feature (the only place that had them in Iceland!!). The kitchen facilities were very good - fridge with freezer compartment, small hob, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, wine opener, cooking pots and utensils, etc. Excellent for our needs. There are also a decent amount of sockets to charge your electrics. The shower had good power with ample hot water. And the shower products were very nice. The lovely external hot tub was filled with sulphuric thermal water. (We loved it, but we did forget to take off our jewellery.😂)

Expensive, but this is Iceland. The cabin was fine for us, but it is a bit squashy. There's nowhere really to leave your luggage open..The beds could do with more pillows. The ones on the bed are a bit flimsy. It would be nice if the hot tub had bubbles and the water was a bit hotter.

It's a really nice place, calm, everything necessary was there, very comfortable and a great location.

Loved this place, yes the cabin is very small so we left our suitcases in the car but for the price and location it was one of our best stays on our 16 day ring road trip People mention problems with the hot tub but when we stayed the owner met us and explained how it worked and it was really great. Make sure you visit the turf houses nearby - next to the hotel with a pool in the distance.

The hot tub really wasn’t hot, luke warm at best and the water pressure in the shower (and temperature) were all over the place.
