Charme in Porta Palio - City Center

The location of the apartment is great - a short walk from both the train station and the historical town centre. The apartment itself was clean and well laid out. The spa bath, lift, balcony and machine washine were greatly appreciated! The host was responsive too, though it took me a while to get used to hosts using whatsapp - that seems to be common in Italy. There is also a great little store across the street which was handy to have. The quiet building and neighbourhood meant that our stay was relaxing.

I'm trying to remember...I don't think there was a cutting board in the kitchen -perhaps that's it?

We had some difficulties finding the correct door at the complex, and then the keys didn't work very well in the entry gate locks.....

Spacious apartment in good location for train station and city centre. Good air conditioning in bedroom. Very good bakery close by for morning pastries along with coffee from the machine in the apartment.

Apartment got extremely warm in the kitchen/living area since there is only air conditioning in the bedroom. This made it very difficult for our teenage son to sleep in there. Would have preferred a full shower rather than the jacuzzi bath with shower head but manageable for a couple of days.

It was very clean and tidy apartment with all the amenities someone will need, the only thing I would like to have was a blanket because while we were there it was a bit cold for the season and we needed it.

It was a bit further from city center than expected, after a 10 minute walk you are inside the city center but all the attractions are further, so a 20-25 minute walk is more accurate. If you don’t mind walking it’s ok though!
