Rustic but outfitted with modern day creature comforts, this Mayan guesthouse is run by a charming and bright archaeology scholar who has created an extraordinary place. The beautiful grounds, the hospitality, the setting in front of the lagoon, the common room full of books, the breakfast, the proximity to the ruins and cenotes, and the authentic atmosphere all make this place quite special. We hope to be back one day.

Everything was perfect.

Alles ist praktisch eingerichtet. Die Lage am See, begrünte Anlage, die sehr gepflegt ist. Fabian ist ein super Typ, der jeden Wunsch erfüllt und dir gute Vorschläge macht.

Nichts, was uns störte. Vieles ist selbst gebastelt, aber funtional in Ordnung.

Great location facing the lagoon & a short walk to the ruins. Fabian was a wonderful host & served amazing coffee. Close to 2 cenotes - we were the only ones swimming in there - simply magical.

Nous avons adoré passé du temps avec Fabian qui est aussi accueillant que gentil discret et de bons conseils. L’emplacement est incroyable et les chambres sont charmantes et très propres. On se sent comme à la maison. Petit paradis calme et chaleureux face à la lagune. Très bon petit déjeuner .

Ne pas rester assez longtemps

El lugar es muy tranquilo, está excelentemente ubicado, es pacífico, lindo, bien equipado y atendido con mucho cariño y buena onda. Quedaos encantados de estar ahí.

The breakfast was excellent. The lake view too.

The shower didn't really work, not even the cold water! The water was so weak that I eventually abandoned my plan to take a shower in the morning. This was the only inconvenience of the place.
