St James By the Quay

The beds were very comfy and the communication with the host was second to none! Sheila made sure we had everything we needed and checked in with us regularly in case of any issues. Appreciated the DVD selection in the living room, as well as the children’s books!

Parking could have been better although we respect and acknowledge that the host does not have any control over this.

Great location. Lovely flat. The kids enjoyed the games and books. Well -equipped kitchen and nice to have a washer dryer. Owner was very helpful with queries.

Stairs in the property are right next to one of the bedroom doors - so ended up putting the kids in the other room in case they took a wrong turn in the night. Not a big issue at all but just we weren't aware of it from the photos.

A lovely well presented apartment. It doesn't have the tired hallmarks of many holiday places. Very well kept up together and still looks new and fresh. Very clean too and nice touches like the children's book shelf (our youngest enjoyed those) whilst the grown ups enjoyed playing Hit or Miss! Communication from the hosts is excellent. Nice decor in kitchen, lounge and bathroom in particular. Would happily stay there again.

Nothing about the apartment can be criticised I would say. This isn't a criticism but be aware the street is busy so can be loud at night and you'll have to unload on double yellows before parking up in nearby pay and display (but many vehicles are doing this for shops in the street so I think traffic wardens are OK with it).

Clean, modern with everything that you could need. Right next to the beautiful harbour. Easy to get in on arrival and great communication from owners.

Lovely space and attention to detail in the property. We're a family of 4 and the apartment felt extremely spacious.
