M&C Rooms di Claudia

Nice and simple place near the Fiumicino airport. We arrived in the early morning hours at Rome, and Claudia's place was ideal for spending the night near the airport before leaving towards Rome centre the next day. The autonomous check-in and check-out were very easy, and Claudia was really helpful and responsive.

I wish I could have been there a bit longer. Very clean and, once I figured out the bus system, very convenient to the airport and to the actual town of Fiumicino.

Sorting out the bus system was challenging! But Claudia was very helpful.

Great communication, very clean and comfortable room. Various small snacks are nice and handy for quick and easy breakfast.

It was hard to find the right bus (I should ask at an airport information counter before going outside to know where to go exactly because it was so many bus stops) travel between the airport and the property by a bus. Google Maps didn’t help at all. The host gave me good taxi phone numbers, but it was my fault I forgot about them. Anyway it will be nice to be informed how to get to the property in advance in the Booking.com “Directions.” There is “Directions” now but I don’t think it is realistic and helpful. We took a taxi to get the property but took a local bus to go back to the airport next morning. We asked several people on the way to the bus stop and luckily we met an airport employee took us to the bus stop. It was just €1 to go back to the airport by the bus.

The property was easy to get to and near to the airport.

The apartment was pretty bare, but the snacks and coffee were nice!

The owner Claudia, was extremely helpful and available via phone. She pre-contacted you to ensure you understood the directions to her place and once you were settled. The room was small but very clean and close to the airport (around 5 mins); perfect for a stopover with lots of little snacks.

The only issue I had was finding a taxi that was willing to drive the un-walkable route since it wasn't far enough for them (it ended up costing me 55 euros). Apart from that, a great experience.
