Makotel Hostel Ipoh

Got plates and forks that are free to use, free to use their umbrella, like their celebrity poster on the wall, they share Ipoh famous places to go and eat, it is very helpful and enjoyable. 🥰

A bit noisy at night, some motorbikes pass by the road beside the hotel, but they provide earplugs.

Clean and comfortable with parking lot, staff (Asif) very helpful. Can walk around without driving, great location

Very spacious, clean and well organised hostel. Comfortable beds with curtains. I am not sure, but I think there are at least 10 showers only for females. Super convenient! The receptionist is so professional and helpful, shared with you all the helpful information about Ipoh. Highly recommended!

The manager Asif is extremely kind, helpful, and professional in every way. A/C in the dorm and hot showers worked perfectly. Hot and cold water available for drinking.

There are large spaces for communications and chit-chatting, a single bunk bed full of private space and locker. Spacious toilets and shower regions. A great experience in this hostel, excellent location within walking distance to downtown and railway station. Wonderful experience ✨

I had a really nice stay during my time in Ipoh. The owner is very friendly and helpful, and the facilities are really good. Lots of showers and toilets, never had to wait and given a towel when you arrive. I extended another night as very comfortable.

There was a bit of noise from outside but you are given earplugs. Only woken up once by the call to prayer at 5:45am, but this isn't the hostels fault.
