We chose Treebo De Cloud 9 Regency as our base after landing in Trivandrum, and the location couldn’t have been more ideal. It’s within walking distance to both the main railway station and bus terminus, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby making it very convenient for short or transit stays. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free. The rooms, while clean, felt a bit enclosed as the windows are sealed, leaving little ventilation or natural light. My mom, who was traveling with me, felt slightly claustrophobic due to this. However, since we were mostly out visiting temples and only returned at night to rest, it wasn’t a major issue. Personally, I didn’t feel uncomfortable, but this might vary depending on individual preferences or age. Breakfast was average. The menu remained the same during our stay, not to complain, while it’s complimentary, I’d suggest skipping it if you’re someone who looks forward to variety or a hearty breakfast. Also, the dining experience felt slightly awkward with breakfast staff closely observing as guests served themselves. That said, the reception staff was polite, and the overall stay was decent given the unbeatable location. If you’re looking for a place close to Trivandrum railway station for a short stay, this is a reliable option.
