Rugby Coach House, Central location, 5 star rating

The Coach House is in a great location, just a short walk from Rugby railway station and a Tesco Express. It's compact but has everything you need, with a full kitchen, two bedrooms (plus a sofabed in the living room) and a washer drier (located in the bathroom.) Three of us were looking for a base for two nights in Rugby ahead of a roadtrip to Glasgow. Normally we'd stay at a chain hotel, but the closest we could find for a reasonable price for the nights we required was in Stratford-upon-Avon - some 34 miles (54km) from Rugby. One of the group mentioned they'd stayed at the Coach House before so I checked on booking.com and saw that it was available for the dates we needed. The house was spotlessly clean on arrival, and it's set back from the road so there's very little exterior noise. I'll definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in the area if it's available.

Being on a residential street, parking spaces are at a premium - which proved to be an issue after a trip to a nearby supermarket - though there are three car parks (serving Rugby railway station) a short walk away.

The property was lovely and cozy. The kitchen had everything needed. We liked the fact the property was lovely and warm upon arrival and was warm throughout our stay.

Really felt like home! Had everything we needed to feel comfortable, as well as some lovely extra touches, e.g. chocolates and wine. The entire property was spotless and was warm when we arrived. We were surprised that it was even better than the photos. Gary was so helpful and kind - allowed us to check in early and check out later, as well as arranging parking for us. We cannot wait to visit Rugby again and will be staying here again.

There was nothing I did not like

The house is awesome and beautiful - we had a peaceful and very restful night. My family loves the soft mattresses and pillows and they are extras of beddings too - very thoughtful of the owner/pic - which made our first night in UK after 7hours of flight felt so comfortable. The garden is lovely and well taken care of 🥰.

However the shower drainage is clogged in the morning - and with all 5 of us taking shower, the water flows to the entrance. Need to look into this ya .. I would like to suggest that the walkway to the wonderful garden is enhanced with larger cobblestones path to ease pulling of larger luggage to the house door.
