1 bed flat with parking near town centre

This really was such an amazing find communication from the owners with speedy and efficient , the location was perfect, 10 minutes walk total the harbour and it was really well equipped . So much thought had gone into to designing and styling the apartment, the New York loft theme carried through each room and all of the accessories. Also having an allocated parking space was a real bonus.

Two minor comments would be that there isn’t a corkscrew and a mirror in the bedroom for hair/ make up would be really useful. However, the only real let down for us was the sofa, it look amazing but really isn’t comfortable!

This was a home from home. Very central for restaurants etc. We were trading at the Stansted garden show, so this was a great place for us to stay. The accommodation was very clean and tidy, we liked the simple decor and non fussy feel of the place.

The bed felt a bit basic for us, but it was ok for a weekend stay. We were out all day and take a cool box for our lunch and milk for coffee etc. it was disappointing that there was no freezer box in the fridge to re freeze the ice packs. Wouldn’t put us off staying again.

Literally a minute from the station which takes you to Portsmouth in 25 mins (£4) and 5-10 mins walk to town. Parking was nice and safe and good to have your own spot. Spotlessly clean which is important to us. Nice to have a bath and shower and smart TV. You don’t need to be in the harbour, this is a great option, all food and drink options are close and tescos is 2 mins.

Nothing - just get a bottle opener for the kitchen!

The flat was very clean and adequately equipped. The location was perfect for us, being midway between pubs/food, and the Crematorium as the funeral was the main reason for our visit.

There were only a few sheets of toilet paper left on the roll, and no spares could be found. I assume this to be an oversight. Although there were two lights on the bathroom mirror, there were no switches anywhere to activate them. The bathroom was in need of a paint touch up and crack near window, filling. The back of the sofa, which is in the middle of the room, was coming away and the staples sharp, could have been injurious. The bed wasn't particularly comfortable and my partner found sleeping difficult.

Very close to the town and centre, Tesco express is 2min walk. It has all the facilities you need to be comfortable. A cooker, washing machine and clothes horse etc We didn't need heating and there was clear instructions for turning it off We would stay again
