The instructions were easy to understand, and everything was as described. Sally answered queries quickly. There were instruction manuals in the flat for everything. It was in a very quiet residential area, but a short walk away from shops, cafes and the train station. Perfect for our family get together and visit to York. Would definitely recommend.

The only minor things were that there were not enough toilet rolls (two in each bathroom with two men in our party was not quite enough). Some of my party would have liked bigger bath towels and I would have liked both a bath and hand towel, but as we were only there for two nights these were not major issues.

Location perfect , quiet residential area which felt safe and secure , communication with the owner excellent , beautiful decor and furnished to perfection and comfortable.

underfloor heating in lounge not sufficient for cold winters , the hallway was not working at all. Hot water ran out very quickly , three of our party were unable to shower on the Sunday morning as water had gone cold. No shower gel or shampoo in either of the bathrooms which required a quick walk into town to purchase. Finally the kitchen would have benefitted from a basic microwave as the one incorporated in the oven was quite complicated to use.

Incredibly clean with all the facilities you could ever need. Also a perfect location for the conference centre as it's right across the road. Only 10 minutes walk to the town centre too so very convenient. Communication was clear from the host and picking up keys etc was very easy.

Fantastic location and a really well thought out accommodation offer. Immaculate, and more than comfortable throughout. The property also included thoughtful touches, including a basket of items a guest may have forgotten. Would highly recommend the property and would definitely stay again.

A lovely apartment in an excellent location.

Some of the low roof beams were in awkward places.
