Melody Surf Ekas Lombok

This place is our favourite in Lombok! Obik is an absolute legend and we loved our stay here.

Amazing place with a great host. Really cozy vibe and very chilled out. The outdoor bathrooms were great and the beds were very comfy and the whole place is clean.

We loved the hosts! Would go out of their way to help you enjoy yourself. The rooms are large with a fan and mosquito net. Surf spot just down the road. Jaya even gave us a lift to the airport which helped a lot.

Both the hosts Moh and Yaya are great people. They really care about the place and about making sure you are as comfortable as possible. I was there to surf and they went out of their way to arrange everything for me (transport, boat, spot tips...). Their place is in a quiet corner of town, in the middle of nature and very close to the surf spots. The room was large, comfortable and clean. As a bonus they have really fast internet, despite it being such a remote location.

There was no mosquito net in the room, so it can be a rough night with the mosquitoes.

Best place in Ekas!! If you’re looking to disconnect and truly immerse yourself in nature, this is the place to be. Nestled in the peaceful surroundings of Ekas, this property offers an unforgettable escape from the crowds. The views are stunning, with lush greenery all around and beautiful sunrises and sunsets every day. The rooms are cozy, clean, and designed with a natural charm that blends perfectly with the environment. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. They made sure we had everything we needed and were always happy to share local tips and recommendations. The food was also a highlight – fresh, flavorful, and often locally sourced. Whether you’re into surfing, exploring hidden beaches, or simply relaxing in a serene setting, this place offers it all. I’d definitely come back – it felt like a little paradise in Lombok. P.S. incredible wi-fi, perfect for remote working!!!

Amazing service!

The hosts at Melody were so incredibly kind and welcoming. I stayed for a week and felt right at home, and by the time I left felt like I could call the hosts friends! The moment I showed up they rushed me out to catch the end of a great swell, and were always keeping the stoke up. The place is walking distance to Ekas Inside and Outside, a short scoot to handful of other breaks pending swell and tides, and incredibly close to some good spots for food. Staying nearby Inside means catching the quiet times when the boats from Lombok haven't made it out yet or have left for the evening - and inside is a pretty dreamy beginner-intermediate wave to have nextdoor. The rooms are spacious and clean, and nice to spread out in, and with the thatch roofs cool off really well at night to where a fan was all I needed to be comfortable. They recently installed Starlink and I had probably one of the best wifi connections I've had in Indo. Big bonus points for a well run locally owned spot that takes care of its natural resources in a place where expats increasingly capitalize on the tourist markets.

Really nothing. For the price you pay it's an outstanding value.

Amazing location if you want some chill time away from the Kuta crowds. From the start you feel welcomed by super friendly staff that will help you with everything you need. If you’re surfing, it’s a 2 minute ride to the beach where you can access Ekas inside and outside (no boat necessary). The rooms are spacious, the bed is big and everything is kept really clean. The breakfast included is really good (get the omelette!) and there is complimentary coffee/tea when you want. 100% recommend this place to anyone.

Lovely big room with excellent mosquito net. Our host Jaya was so welcoming and kind, even inviting us to his badminton tournament final as guests of honour! Great location for surfing, really close to Inside and the beach break.

There are a lot of mosquitos, but this can’t really be helped.

The rooms were very clean, the food was good and very friendly owner !:)
