4 Canti Central Loft & Ground floor

Really good location in a quiet road in the lively historic centre, 10-15 minutes straightforward walk to the train station, 5-10 minutes from the cathedral, 2 minutes from Ballarò market and 5 minutes from a laundrette. The apartments are secure and newly refurbished. The upstairs apartment is quite charming and airy. The downstairs is basically a suite, better suited for one or two people max. Drinking water in the fridge was appreciated, thank you!

The bed in the upstairs apartment is on a mezzanine to which you access via a rather narrow set of wooden stairs. If you are not used to that or have physical difficulties, you may find those uncomfortable. As with many Sicilian buildings, there are plenty of steps and stairs to negotiate with luggage. The bathroom in the apartment downstairs is well-fitted, but very small. It would have been nice to find a couple of coffee pods for the machine.

Sehr schöne Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Zentrum. Kleiner romantischer Balkon. Hübsch eingerichtet.

Die Wohnung war nicht sehr sauber. Auch der Eingangsbereich (Straße) war leider sehr dreckig (Müll, tote Tauben, Hundekot, unangenehme Gerüche. Nachdem die Wohnung unter uns belegt wurde, hatten wir keine ruhige Nacht. Extrem hellhörig und die anderen Mieter waren extrem laut bis morgens um halb drei / halb vier. Ständig gingen Leute in der Wohnung ein und aus. Bett befindet sich im Loft direkt unter der Holzdecke. Dort stand nachts die Hitze. Die Klimaanlage hat nur den unteren Teil des Lofts leicht abgekühlt.

The balcony and the whole structure of it was amazing, it felt so homey.

Fantastic location and amenities. Great a/c, super quiet, good blackout curtains, and fantastic breakfast (off site).

Bed is super hard. We did sleep well, though. But more pillows needed. The ones provided swish down to nothing within a minute of use.

The location is awesome! 2 minutes to the historic and cultural centre, to walk, restaurants street. And same time inside is so quiet. The clean and comfortable apartment, nice kitchen with all necessities. Have a coffee-machine, washing-mashine, vacuum cleaner… Host Toni was so kind and helpful. He’s shared his city-guide :)

The stairs in the room are too sharp. Maybe it’s will problem for age people. And I recommend to change the pot.

The photographs for this accommodation are highly misleading. The host has merged photographs for two completely different apartments, using photographs from an apartment on the first floor with a balcony and breakfast included. The apartment that you end up staying in is on the lower ground floor with a fold-out bed and no breakfast. It was also damp, the drain smelt, there was no hand soap in the toilet (and a single sachet of shampoo for two people for three nights). Other comparable rooms were available in Palermo at a much lower price.
