Breakfast was great and the host was very attentive. A good breakfast set us up for the day.

Friendly host, great breakfast, great facilities, iseal for the solo traveller.

Quite a long walk into centre of town, but there is a regular bus service.

We had a great stay with Sue. We were at a match at Murrayfield so the location was spot on, an easy 20 minute walk. It’s super easy to get into the city centre by bus with frequent buses to/from just outside. The room was as fine; it faces a very busy road but with the windows shut the noise was minimised. There were two bath/shower rooms so no issue with access. Range of choice for breakfast. Fewer eating/drinking options in the area than we expected. Overall, great stay.

This was the most wonderful B&B, The owner is so warm and kind , she also makes an exceptional breakfast. 1000000/10 I will definitely be staying here again the next time I am in Edinburgh. I cannot recommend enough!

Easy to find the property. Good location as cheap bus service into Edinburgh. Basic facilities but that was all I needed as I spent most of my time out and about. Nice chatty lady doing breakfast. I stayed 4 nights and slept well.

Free Parking was 2 streets away. Nearby you can pay to park but only up to 4 hours on the new (Dec 2024) metering system. Although I think if you time it right it’s free overnight. You have to choose your breakfast on a form on day 1, and your choice stays the same throughout your stay. Understandable to save waste but I’d personally prefer not to have the same every day.

Very good value for money and the location was absolutely perfect. The bus stop is literally outside the door for both the bus into the city and the return from the city. There are 3 busses (4, 34 and 44) that run every 15 minutes and only £2 each. 10 minute taxi ride from the station with cases. The room had everything we needed, absolutely spotless and the bed was so comfortable! The shared bathroom was lovely and again, absolutely spotless and huge! Sue was an amazing hostess, very friendly and super helpful. The cooked breakfast was exceptional and the continental breakfast had so much choice with super quality products and produce. Cannot recommend Badajo enough and we will definitely be back!

Lovely and welcoming host ++ Spacious and clean bathroom Generous breakfasts Easily reachable place, as the bus stop is just across the street ! Various bus lines to get to Edinburgh's center (4 or 5 bus lines !) Being widely independent, as we can leave and come back to the B&B whenever we want (as long as we respect other guests' tranquillity)

It took me a little time to get used to the B&B, but I was very satisfied in the end. It's expensive but so is everything else in Edinburgh. For Edinburgh standards, it's not expensive at all. Rooms are small and comfort is very basic, but you will find everything you need and it's clean. There's a bus stop right in front of the B&B that will bring you straight to the city centre in about 15 minutes. And the hostess is absolutely lovely! If I'm ever to go back to Edinburgh, I'll definitely stay here again.
