Super 'Cosy' Small Basic Cabin in The Middle of National Park and Mountains but near Road and Railway

The relative isolation, being amidst the beautiful vertical mountains that held you in their palms. The woodburner that warmed your bones with the aroma of dry popping pine cones. Early in the morning there was a deep silence and the silhouette of the mountains remained saturated in cloud. The cabin which was exactly as advertised, everything you need though a necessary secondary to the real purpose of the place: To be seduced and liberated for a time by nature. Our family loved the experience and will be back.

In all honestly the hut was everything we needed, so we have no complaints. It was warm, well equipped and there was plenty of firewood and an axe for kindling.

Is warm house, host given me a lot woods/ pine corn for burning. Bedsheet is clean and comfortable for sleeping. Natural Environment . I will come back next time. Thank you Gary for explaining all the instructions.

Gary sent lots of instructions on how to get there, what to expect and was great at communicating. The cabin got lovely and warm once the fire was on, bed was comfy and shower was hot!

Was nice to just relax and be cosy by the fire. The fire warmed the place up extremely well. Great bird life and seeing the train go past on occasion added to the experience. Me and my partner thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would do it again. Another thing I must mention is that I brought my dog with me. Finding good pet friendly accommodation isn't too easy

Awesome options of keeping warm, plenty of blankets, sleeping bags and a fireplace with plenty of firewood and pinecones. It was clean and there was also plenty of ways to cook dinner, microwave, oven, and airfryer and toaster! Instructions on getting there and what to expect were very detailed

Traffic can be noisy, but its awesome location and closeness to arthurs pass and the general walking tracks and other mountain activities help offset this. (Recommend light sleepers wear earplugs)

What a peaceful stay in this cozy cabin surrounded by nature, river sounds, morning birds chirping and amazing night sky. The highlight was the fireplace with wood provided which was so relaxing. Very clear instructions so it was easy to find it even when it was dark. Gary is super friendly, proactive and made sure we understood how to get there.
