"Cozy get-away highly recommend"

Large and well-kept section around the hut. Great space for the dog to run around, well fenced. Also very private and tranquil space bar the occasional train. Hut itself is undersold, lovely warm functional space. We very much enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

"Good for a basic stay in Otira"

Very commendable that the owner is so upfront about it being a basic cabin. If you are going to complain about it not meeting your expectations, then you haven't read the booking info properly

Shower water wasn't hot but apparently we should have turned the heater switch on. Owner says he will mark switch for future renters.

"Very comfortable stay"

Lovely electric blankets on the beds. Lots of dry wood to light a fire. Left very clean by the prior guests. We stayed in the hut with ensuite bathroom and it was well worth paying extra verses the hut with an outside bathroom.
