FRWe loved the wonderful view and enjoyed watching the sunsets and sunrises, the apartment had a great location. The beds and bedding were really comfortable.
GBLovely location overlooking the sea, with side window to get more of a sea view. Inbetween 2 walkways down to the beautiful beach and 3min walk to lovely cafe Riva overlooking the sea, where we had gorgeous breakfasts. Apartment very clean & comfy. New boiler so good hot water and heating (as we went November) clean towels and washing up liquid, cloth, soap etc provided which was handy.
1st impressions of property as a whole of 12 apartments looks bit rundown, especially at the back where parking is. Also it’s situated between a very modern, recently done up building and one under construction. However, we potentially wouldn’t be able to afford those apartments for a weekend away, so as this is a very clean and tidy apartment, with all we need, it is a good compromise to have the same sea views and location to beach. The apartment upstairs had squeaky floorboards so when they were walking around we could hear. Little can be done about that I imagine and didn’t hinder our stay just a bit annoying if they woke before us. The WiFi did cut out a few times but never for long. When we arrived the door to balcony wouldn’t open, made contact who sent someone out at our convenience early next morning. As we went November, wasn’t much of an issue for the dark Friday evening but good that it was dealt with quickly.

The flat is not the same as the one advertised on booking.com. The website shows a modern, freshly decorated bathroom, whereas the bathroom in the flat hasn't been decorated for many years, there is mould on several surfaces, the ceiling paint is flaking, there is dried scum on the chrome shower hose, there is corrosion on the exposed copper pipework. The bathroom light did not work. The bathroom is dirty and grubby. The boiler is faulty. We had no hot water or heating. Kitchen tap dripped constantly causing a noise nuisance at night. The appliances in the kitchen are opposite to the photographs on the website. The property is owned by stai.co.uk who provide an information folder in the flat. I called the "urgent questions" number to report the faults. This number rang without answer and eventually cut off. There was no option to leave a message. I sent several emails. I've never received a reply. They do eventually reply to Whatsapp messages. However, due to the late check in time of 4.00 pm there was no time left in the working day to get the issues repaired. So we spent the first night washing in the dark with cold water. The following morning I received a Whatsapp message telling me an engineer would attend between 4.30-5.30 pm - 24 hours after we'd checked in. An engineer did arrive, repaired the bathroom light but couldn't fix the dripping tap or repair the boiler. He said someone would have to return the next day. This meant we were going into a third day with no hot water or heating. I telephoned the "urgent question" number... again no answer, call cut off, no option to leave a message. Email sent... still waiting for a reply. Sent Whatsapp asking how they were going to assist me. No immediate response. I then booked into a hotel, informed stai.co.uk and requested a refund. A week later I've still had no response. I contacted booking.com who basically washed their hands of it (in hot water).
GBLoved the location, the views, the space and facilities. All the details (kitchen utensils, household items) had been thought of. Nearby Greene King pub, beach, kids play area, and Cafe Riva on waterfront for breakfast with a view - all a within 2 min walk just perfect.
The only thing was the WiFi signal for the Smart TV in living room - it would drop in and out regularly so unable to watch any program for longer than 5 mins. Other than that, loved our stay here.
