Pepe's House Cuenca I Boutique Hotel

The property listing was not clear about Parking availability. One would think that parking was available after you check-in but when you make a reservation they send you a very long message with no structure where they say that it's only available after 6 pm, in a way that the information can be easily missed by someone scanning the long message, and then you get surprised to find out when you arrive and they just tell you that they did warn you so you have to scramble to find parking. This restriction should be mentioned front and center in the Property Listing. Parking from 6 pm to 8 am is as good as no parking at all.

We really enjoyed our stay at pepes! Great location for exploring Cuenca and the personnel was really lovely. The breakfast was plentiful and overall the interior of the hotel is very welcoming!

If you are the person who enjoys the rustic vibe then this hostel will fit right up your alley. If you like cats then it is a no brainer

Unfortunately our shower did not have any warm water when we stayed there so that was definitely a bummer. Then the rustic vibe was perhaps a tad bit for our liking as it was fairly easy to wake up each other when going to the bathroom at night. This as every floor panel makes a sound. The breakfast was unfortunately also a little let down given the extremely high rating the hostel had while he stayed there. Meaning there is only one type of tea and no coffee. You cannot decide on what to drink so the juice we got was not the best.

An extremely helpful service and Organisation of pick up, excursions etc.

First off, the staff were all super helpful and booked a couple of day trips for me. They don't have a tourist agency there so the staff was able to find something for me cheaper than I could on my own. And the trips were great! Now, any review would be incomplete without a mention of Empanada. She is the best cat in Ecuador (undisputed) but also quite possibly the entirety of South America. I love her. Also the rooms are very clean and comfortable! But....Empanada. She is everything.

I didn't like that I couldn't catnap Empanada.
