Cinnabar Romantic Hideaway on Historic Walls

Very interesting property, stylishly decorated and well equipped in a great location next to the town walls. There was plenty of storage, a comfortable bed and fantastic bathroom. The living room is really quirky and a great place to lounge. We were able to park next to the entrance to the property which was a bonus. A great location for exploring the Borders and the Northumbrian Coast. A short walk to Bridge Street where there are decent restaurants and pubs. 15 minutes walk to the train station with frequent trains to Edinburgh ( 45 mins journey approx).

Fridge freezer compartment busted. Not sure what to do with the bins. Neighbours can be an issue due to adjoining internal door and on floor above.

Well appointed, clean. Everything you would need. Would definitely stay again.

The property itself and the way it was furnished are excellent. Couldn’t find fault. My only comment would be that it’s let down by the courtyard, first impressions and all that. I think there is so much potential for the courtyard which may not be used much until the summer months arrive but it would be a great asset when the hotter days come.

The apartment has been designed with thought and flair.

We wanted to stay longer, but it was booked.

The court yard seating airer not very inviting, small table and 2 chairs right next to the waist bins.

My wife & I would definitely come whenever we're in the area. Great location, Great host & Great home. Bed was very comfortable had a great night's sleep & the home is in a quite end of town so no noise. Most amenities are here for short stays. Doesn't feel like an air bnb or booking.com more like your own holiday home...chilled & very comfy.
