The central location of the apartment was convenient.

There was no hot water for the entire 5-day stay, from the first to the last day. The host already knew about the issue but never solved it, and even stopped replying to our messages. He later claimed the problem was fixed in the third day , but we wrote to him the same evening saying the water was still cold, and he never answered. Instead of fixing the issue, he offered us another apartment that was smaller, with only two rooms and located in a noisy area, which was not comparable to what we had originally booked. In the end, he offered only 1 day refund, which we did not accept because it felt like a joke compared to 5 days without such a basic service.

The best part of the stay was leaving.

Terrible experience. The apartment was dirty, unwelcoming, and completely different from the photos. The sheets were stained, the bathrooms were in awful condition, and everything was filthy. On top of that, there was no hot water for several days, making it impossible to take a shower. The host was rude and disrespectful, acting as if the lack of hot water was unimportant. We asked for another accommodation, but he only offered a small refund, so we had to pay for another place ourselves. I’ve been using Booking for years and never left a negative review, but this experience was truly unacceptable. Esperienza pessima. L’appartamento era sporco, poco accogliente e completamente diverso dalle foto. Le lenzuola erano macchiate, i bagni in condizioni penose e la pulizia generale inesistente. Inoltre, non c’era acqua calda per diversi giorni, rendendo impossibile anche solo farsi una doccia. Il proprietario è stato maleducato e scortese, come se l’assenza di acqua calda fosse una cosa irrilevante. Nonostante le nostre richieste, ha offerto solo un piccolo rimborso e abbiamo dovuto pagare di tasca nostra un altro alloggio per poter continuare la vacanza. Uso Booking da anni e non ho mai lasciato una recensione negativa, ma questa volta è stato davvero inaccettabile.

Although the area is central, the apartment is very difficult to access since the street is blocked by police, making it unsuitable for travelers with luggage. The listing was misleading: no AC, no microwave, and furniture much older than shown. Location on Google Maps was inaccurate, and the host was rude and inflexible. Would not recommend.
