Sandsifter at 4 Trencrom Court, Carbis Bay,St Ives, Cornwall

Lovely clean modern apartment in a great location - tucked away near the station/road down to the beach. Very convenient for either walking or getting the train to St Ives for the day or night out. Excellent tapas restaurant right next door!

The TV did not work properly - it kept breaking up so was impossible to watch. Some of the windows didn’t shut properly so outside noise (i.e. noisy seagulls at 4am!) was very annoying when trying to sleep. No oven gloves (that I could find) and no recycling facilities.

Our stay at Sandsifter was lovely. The flat is in a great location - close to some great food options, convenient for the local beachfront and near to public transport stops too. It's a great space; a really decent size, well kitted out and tastefully decorated. Check in/out was really simple, and communication with our hosts was great throughout. Some thoughtful extras they included were a nice touch, and we appreciated the booklet of local recommendations provided.

The only negative for us was that the bed was very squeaky/creaky. Both being light sleepers it meant we didn't sleep as well as we'd have liked. By no means a major issue (probably just needs some screws tightening or a bit of oil here and there).

Lovely and clean and had everything you needed . It was also cool on a hot day . The apartment was also in a a great location easy access to the beach and local shops all in walking distance .

Proximity to beach, bus and train station. Facilities and thoughtful touches such as water, milk, ice, deckchairs, condiments, cleanliness, welcoming ambience - lights and radio on.

The accommodation was immaculate. Comfortable bed and great kitchen facilities. It stayed nice and cool in the hot weather.

Stayed in flat 2 before so knew it was high standard accommodation.

Well equipped and very well designed and laid out considering the available space. Location is good for train station road access & local shops Easy and interesting walking routes to Trencrom Hill and Knill Monument, and coastal paths east and west Would say accommodation is good if you prefer a walking holiday to a beach holiday

No view. There is a small courtyard, but sadly the weather was awful and we couldn't use Take earplugs to block out road and bird noise
