Don't take this house is scam

Booked this homestay a full month in advance apparently just enough time for absolutely nothing to be arranged. No call, no message, no instructions on how to even access the property. Impressive level of silence. Fast forward to the actual day, 10 people traveled all the way from Johor, only to have the booking cancelled at the last minute. No alternative provided, no proper support. Just a masterclass in how not to handle customers who’ve made plans based on your platform. It’s honestly fascinating how the urgency of the situation was completely overlooked, as if last minute cancellations are a minor inconvenience rather than a major disruption. Traveling long distance with a group, only to be left stranded, really highlights the level of “customer care” involved here. Strongly recommending that this listing be removed from the platform before more people get the same unforgettable experience. And hopefully, the customer service team might consider learning what “support” actually means—especially when customers are depending on you.

Not satisfied with the stay. The hall and bathroom lights were faulty, the kitchen tap was leaking badly, and both the hair dryer and water heater were not functioning properly. The utensils provided were not hygienic, there weren’t enough sofas, and no washing machine was available. The WiFi connection was also very poor. Overall, the homestay needs much better maintenance, cleanliness, and care for guest’s comfort
