Not hot water, thankfully the shower is electric. Very old dirty ripped duvet definitely need new ones Need net curtains in the lounge had to keep the curtains shut Need curtains in the bedroom Need a shower mat, the shower glass is not fit for purpose, water goes on the floor, husband hurt his leg as he slipped Needs a deep clean Smell of damp Bed to small for a couple plus no room to move around the bed

Nothing unfortunately. The property is managed by some company and I think they tried providing service they could. But the flat is definitely in a condition that it needs a lot more of managing.

It was a terrible experience unfortunately and not recommended at all. From the Misleading Location, Faulty Boiler to extremely useless WiFi, every small and big thing was a challenge in this stay. More details below: 1. The biggest issue was the BOILER NOT WORKING. It kept making weird noises and did not heat the water properly. My mom fell ill because of cold water (it is always so cold in Edinburgh) and this practically ruined our trip. 2. WIFI IS FAULTY. Always only had one bar on the network and for some weird reason my EE also gave up in the flat. Was difficult to even make WhatsApp calls which was super strange. 3. BEDDING PROVIDED WAS VERY OLD and the ancient blankets were half out of their cover. See photo. 4. Check in Time is 4 pm. I was a bit surprised when this was mentioned after the booking. I was also expected to check out at 10 am. That’s literally almost half a day gone. 5. I found the LOCATION MISLEADING. Not sure what is the norm but this flat is definitely at least 15 mins from Leith way. And I thought that is a lot of time for a small city like Edinburgh. 6. The flat is pretty old with the BATHROOM in a really bad shape, definitely needs RENOVATION. The TOILET LID keeps falling off and needs a couple of flushes. We actually used the bathtub once but there was no way to flush out the water. We had to ask the owner to fix that. However that caused quite some issues as we had to get ready and head out for a booked trip. 7. Funniest had to the TV. It’s an ancient model and not really usable. And with the WiFi it practically would just keep loading stuff all the time.

Freezing -boiler wasn't on so took ages for us to figure out how to switch on Very uncomfortable sofa bed not the cleanest looking in a spotless flat

The place had potential, the heating was good, the check in was easy and it's nice that it had a functional kitchen.

Some things would be an easy fix and weren't well kept, such as squeaky bed, bad mattress, shower head support was broken and it kept falling. Location is also not ideal.
