The location was perfect in proximity to everywhere we had to get to during our stay. We received a warm welcome by Deidre coming in from a rainy Cape town afternoon. . The interior decor has a very unique personal touch which added to the comfort. I highly recommend the breakfast basket if you like having snackable goodies on hand

Didn't like that our trip had to come to an end

I have already submitted my shocking story, in detail, re this booking to Booking.com. The apartment may have been nice but it is in a sleazy and unsafe area, down a dark alley, opposite a downtown pub with patrons drinking in the street and around the corner from a loud nightclub, Tin Roof. The area was busy, dark and felt very unsafe. None of this was made clear on the website, a fatal error. It does say it was a "central" apartment but that doesn't mean all of the above. I have requested a refund of my money as this was absolutely and totally unacceptable as a safe and convenient stay.
