Very near to town centre

Comfortable bed and safe parking. Also two different codes to access the apartment (one for the front door and one for the apartment door).

Fantastic location, excellent communication and an on-site manager. Nothing too much trouble. We loved our stay and loved Matera.

Some outdoor seating area. Balcony has limited space - not enough for 3 people

The landlord and his mom were kind and helpful, with good communication even though we don't speak Italian.

It is efficient.

It was very small. If was sparsely furnished with little furniture. If you were a young couple who intended on not being in the but to sleep, it would be adequate. There was no water in the fridge (the tap water didn’t taste at all good. There wasn’t a good coffee maker, it was noisy in the alley way adjacent to our rooms. The bed I slept in had a mattress that was very hard and uncomfortable. Many stairs to climb to the apartment. It was not what we had expected.

It made me feel like we were in old Italy. Rina was a wonderful hostess. A true Italian welcoming in a sweet outdoor little patio. We loved Pablo. The rooms were very clean. And the location was steps away from the historic city.

Parking was right outside the door. However…it was very tight parking. But thanks to our host Rina, she got us into it.
