Spacious 3 Bed Home in the heart of Swansea

Cleanliness, decor and comfiness. Had all the facilities I would need.

The main issue was that it was not as described. Firstly, the heading states “brand new” and “luxury home from home” and refers to the place as an apartment. Whilst I can see it has been recently renovated, it is not by any means brand new. And to describe the trade standard interiors as luxury is beyond an exaggeration. Nor is it an apartment. It is a terraced house on a residential street that is at best described as tired and run down. As I read through the property description, it states there are 2 bathrooms. In fact there is 1 bathroom and 1 toilet. Which bizarrely are both next to each other on the ground floor. The facilities description states free parking on site. The street is permit holder only with the only free parking being on a nearby side street which we did not feel safe to leave our vehicles on. We had to pay for a local NCP car park. The beds are advertised as “extra large double beds” in fact they are 2 single beds pushed together with a mattress topper over the 2 single mattresses. These we’re extremely uncomfortable. For £250 for one night, I would expect much more. In fact we spent a second night in a well known hotel chain and for £250 we had 3 double rooms with en-suite bathrooms and a full breakfast.

Spacious, clean, fresh, well equipped, stylish decor. Great base for Swansea.

The beds could do with an upgrade - the frames dig into the mattresses. It feels like there's something missing between the frame and the mattress.
