"Deers Den"

Deceptively spacious tardislike property on quiet street. Excellent location to visit the open-air theatre in Scarborough, enclosed back garden and very dog friendly, bars and fish and chip shop at the end of the road.

Nothing to complain about, parking discs provided and a friendly host a phone call away.

Great location for North Beach (dog friendly), and pubs. Clean, tidy, comfortable. We've stayed 3 times now. Excellent value.

Heater control - Can't set your temp/routine. You can only get a boost for an hour on the owners set routine. New for 2026's stay. The key safe number given when booking on here is always wrong, I have to ring the owner to get the real one. Irritating when you're cold and wet, but not a big deal really.

"Exceptional"

We had a lovely stay at Deer’s Den. The property was clean, well presented and had everything we needed for a comfortable few days away. The location was great – close enough to get into Scarborough easily but still nice and quiet. The beds were really comfortable and it felt very homely. It was also perfect for our dogs – very safe and secure, with plenty of space for them which made the stay so much more relaxing. Communication with the host was excellent and everything was straightforward from start to finish.

Nothing that comes to mind everything was great!

"Great getaway"

We've stayed here before and loved how cosy & clean the house is. It has everything you need and plenty of space for a family with teenagers and dogs. The location is ideal for walking distance to the park and beach. The rooms are all of good size. Beds and sofas are comfortable. We will definitely visit again.
