NEW 3 BRD Modern Urban Gateway

We arrived at the apartment at night to a prestigious area with well-kept and beautiful houses. But the house from the outside looked very neglected. The apartment was large and well-equipped. But dusty and not very clean. The problem was that some of the body towels and kitchen towels were dirty and seemed not to have been washed. We informed the owner about this. But instead of bringing us clean and new towels, on the morning of departure he informed us that there was a washing machine downstairs and came to make sure that we left on time. When I told him why he didn't leave us clean towels outside the door - he just left. It's a shame that an apartment owner doesn't give consideration, cleanliness and care towards the tenants.

Convenience, clean place, easy to work with

Perfect perfect location walking distance to many different shops and restaurants. Close drive to D.C. and to Great Falls Park. Kid friendly! There is a pack-n-play, bed rail and sound machine available!

The kids room beds were very firm however that’s a personal preference so not a deal breaker. Maybe having a couple of box fans would been nice too.

I really like the quiet, friendly neighborhood.

There isn’t a dresser or any place to organize clothing in the first bedroom. The pillows are quite high and not very comfortable.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The home was spotlessly clean and clearly very well cared for. The location couldn’t be better—close to everything we wanted to see and do in Washington, yet still quiet and peaceful. Parking was a breeze, which made coming and going super convenient. The host was friendly, responsive, and made sure everything was just right for our stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area—we’d definitely stay here again!

Exceptional!!! The location was great for walking to the Metro and a short ride to DC and Arlington. It was just out of the city so allowed for relaxation and winding down in the evenings! There was also a park within walking distance with a splash pad and a public library! These were located about halfway between the rental and the metro so if you have little kids with you or elderly who need a break in the walk, its available! There was also an ice cream truck at the park! I recommend any slushie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream added! They also had smoothies and bubble tea. We utilized Walmart delivery and Papa Johns delivery without any issues! The rental itself was clean and felt safe! Nice area! They provided laundry baskets which I don't believe any renter Ive interacted with has thought of before! There were also throw blankets available! Ben was also exceptional! He was educational and helpful about the area and the rental in general! He was also kind enough to loan my husband some tools and jumper cables when our vehicle battery died due to the terminals being loose. Several stores and restaurants within walking distance as well! Chevys was really good Mexican cuisine! We didn't cook while staying but the kitchen was fully stocked to do so! We would definitely stay again! Just some info for the tourists: The blue line on the metro was center for our sight seeing! We did have to take the yellow line and transfer to the red line with about a 12 min walk to the zoo. The monuments and museums were all blue line as it took us to the center of it all! For the Whitehouse get off at McPherson Square! It was only about a 2min walk from there! It was our first time on the Metro and we debated a 3 day pass but the security guard was kind enough to point out it would be cheaper to pay per ride. He saved us about $18 each! I utilized wmata.com for metro trip planning. Also some of the museums do require a "ticket" to reserve an entry time!
