Royal Retreat & Lego Lodge with free parking

De locatie. Het was een geweldige uitvalsbasis om de regio te bezoeken. En de verhuurders zijn hele lieve, vriendelijke mensen. Het huis is comfortabel ingericht. Voor ons een plek om zeker nog een keer terug te komen.

Het enige jammer waren de vele vliegtuigen tussen 05:30 uur en 23:00 uur die laag overkomen. Maar je went er een beetje aan. En we waren toch het meeste van de tijd weg. Was even lastig met slapen en in de ochtend had je geen wekker nodig.

No estaba muy limpio. Calidad-precio baja. Me dijeron que habría dos camas king size pero una de ellas se trataba de dos individuales juntas. No está cómodo

WiFi didn’t work Kettle was absolutely disgusting we used a pan to boil our water No milk but lots of tea and coffee Hairs all over the bathroom sink Shower was dirty and still had foam in it like someone had just showered Kitchen needs updating Sofa is actually a sofa bed with no support Twin room beds are that springy and soft you can feel the springs through it. Noisy due to cars and being on a main road but once you are asleep it’s no problem. Oven was vile ( pics) to follow so we ate out and chucked the food we had bought to cook. All in all an expensive trip away and wished we had booked the premier inn at half the cost. As at least the beds would have been comfier. I wouldn’t recommend this place unfortunately and won’t be returning. Although the owners were quick to respond to the wifi not working and asked us to report back if any other issues. After travelling 3 hours we expect a certain. Standard. We would have arrived at 10 am if they expected us to clean the place!!

Very clean. Lots of nice little touches by the owners such as towel for baby .

Quite noisy as on a busy road. Only just fitted car in drive.

Excellent hosts. Nicely decorated house. Clean. Great location for Legoland.

We could have done with more towels and more toilet paper!

The shower was fantastic. The large mugs were fantastic. Comfy beds. Appreciated the welcome pack. Great location.

The property was lovely, clean and comfortable, very close to Legoland Windsor. The hosts were very friendly and they were responding very quickly to the messages, very good communication with them. There is a little convenience store next to it, so you can buy essentials if you need it.

I was struggling a bit to open the e key box, maybe because I haven't seen one like this before, I tried to open it from the bottom, but it supposed to be opened from the top, I guess it's probably just me 😅
