Cleanliness, organization of the kitchen - each room has own cupboard with played, mugs, etc. The kitchen is very well equipped with all the necessary appliances including washing machine and dryer.

It's about 20-minute to the city centre but I don't mind walking.

The whole building was super clean and had easy free parking just outside. I loved having a private room and bathroom with a shared common area. And of course I loved having my own balcony to sit outside in the morning. The shared kitchen space allowed me to make my own meals and I appreciated having dedicated space for my things in the refrigerator and cabinets. This shared area allowed me to meet others in the house as well and make new friends. It was a great idea to have space to use or leave leftover items so things don't go to waste. And it was very convenient to have laundry facilities. Catarina was very responsive and kind and left treats out on the counter like cookies or homemade sweet treats. She even helped me organize a taxi for my ride back to the airport so I didn't have to stress about how I was going to get there.

The building is very echo-y so you hear every time a door opens, every shower and when people are talking in the common areas. I didn't find it disruptive because it was never when I was trying to sleep but it was noticeable to me. Also, there is very limited space in the bathroom to have your toiletries out.

The Guest House exceeded our expectations in every way. It has been recently modernized. There was a fully equipped kitchen and a nice common area. The terrace outside the common area was a nice asset. The room was super clean and had great amenities, as well as good beds. The location of the Guest House was very central- close to a grocery store and the city center of Ponta Delgada. Catarina and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to help us with any issues and was always super friendly. It was such an uniquely amazing stay and the Guest House is really a special place. - Celia and Patrick

La casa tiene todos los servicios necesarios para una estancia cómoda y relajada. Las camas son cómodas, las zonas comunes son amplias y hay todo tipo de electrodomésticos. La gente deja los productos que le sobran, tanto cosméticos como de comida. La ubicación es buena, pero mejor llegar en coche.

La gente no suele respetar los horarios de silencio, lo cual llega a ser algo incómodo. Si te toca la habitación 1 o 2 (planta baja) se oye todo lo de la cocina, la cual debería estar algo más aislada. La habitación 1 es algo pequeña.

De tudo em geral Acomodações confortáveis, zona comum de refeições super limpa, muito bem pensado em termos de utilização por cada "quarto", com armários numerados e caixas numeradas no frigorífico, para cada quarto. Fogão, forno, microondas, torradeira, jarro de água elétrico, máquina de lavar roupa, máquina de secar roupa, máquina de lavar loiça, cozinha totalmente equipada e funcional. Quarto muito confortável com varanda, cofre para guardar valores, casa de banho impecável, com toalhas suplentes, secador de cabelo. Tudo pensado para quem quer passar uns dias sem preocupações, não sendo obrigado a comer fora todas as refeições. Em suma, extraordinária experiência e atenção da proprietária, Catarina, que está sempre em contacto para saber se necessitamos de alguma coisa. Perto do centro de Ponta Delgada, a meio da Ilha, permitindo assim o acesso "rápido" a todas as atrações e locais da de São Miguel. Experiência top, recomendo vivamente. Muito obrigado

From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The accommodation was absolutely wonderful. Everything was lovingly arranged and thoughtfully designed, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It was spotlessly clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen was exceptionally well organized and equipped with everything you could possibly need. We especially loved the concept of the house—everything had its place, and it was clear that a great deal of thought and care had gone into making guests feel comfortable and at ease. We simply loved everything about our stay and would return in a heartbeat. What truly made this experience unforgettable, however, was Catarina herself. There are some people you meet while traveling who leave a lasting impression on your heart – and Catarina is one of them. After our flights were cancelled multiple times, we found ourselves stranded and exhausted. Catarina went far beyond what anyone could ever expect from a host. With incredible kindness, warmth, and genuine care, she organized alternative accommodation for us during a very stressful and uncertain situation. What touched us most was not just her help, but the love and compassion with which she offered it. She made us feel safe, welcome, and cared for when we needed it most. It felt less like dealing with a host and more like being helped by a dear friend or family member. I honestly cannot find enough words to express how grateful we are for everything Catarina did for us. People like her make the world a better place, and meeting her was one of the highlights of our trip to the Azores. Catarina, from the bottom of my heart: thank you.
