We did not stay because I called the host to ask how to enter the building and was told that rooms were located above a restaurant. So, I spent the next 30 mins walking around the area and asking at a store if the Emme Urban Suites was located above the store - no one there knew of an Emme Urban Suites. There was a building at the location on the map with B&B 1 through 4 on the buzzers but no one answered those. My husband called the second time and reached one of the guy that had spoken some on my first call and repeated that we were at the right place and he said he'd be right down. About another 20-30 mins went by while we searched for a new place to stay and this did not seem to be working out. A guy showed up by our car and said we could find parking. This all happened after I had emailed the host requesting the garage parking space to which there was no response and updating our arrival time multiple times with no response. My husband had found another spot that was in a much better location and very welcoming. I would love to get a refund from this place that I'm not even sure we met the host. So disappointed that the description of the place didn't meet any of the actual location.

The host was rude. He sent her sister who is not speaking english at all. No explanations of how to use the djakuzi , no coffee included. I called him for advice he was rude stating why I was calling him many times, but he was actaully referring to another host... total confusion and no good service. Even though the accomodation was fine and clean, if he host was good enough , the rating would be much higher and if he provides basic welcome messages and instructions.

Emme Urban Suites is a horrible place run by horrible people. We booked for four nights but left after one and demanded a refund. We booked the “1 bedroom apartment” which offers even less than a budget hotel room. The hostile greeting on the street by the “owner’s sister” after a 15-minute wait was the first sign things might not be great. After being shown the tiny, basement garage and room in virtual silence we were left to our own devices. Within minutes we realised there was no internet, no TV remote, no bathroom toiletries and half a roll of toilet paper. We communicated with the owner who told us we were using the wrong internet password – we weren’t, we were connected to the modem which had no internet connection. Screenshots were provided. We were told it was “impossible” there was no TV remote. We were told it would be fixed “tomorrow”. We were told we should have booked a hotel and not a B&B if we wanted the inoperative/missing items and that we were free to leave at any time. It’s not a B&B if there’s no breakfast provided. We decided to leave and contacted Booking.com for a 75% refund (which has since been provided). The property’s description of facilities and amenities on Booking.com is a mix of lies and embellishments: • Free toiletries – None • Toilet paper – Half of a used roll provided • Coffee machine – But no pods or capsules • Iron – None • Flat-screen TV – No remote provided • Electric kettle – None • Private apartment? – Budget hotel room • Free WiFi – Yes, a modem but it’s not connected to the internet • Restaurant – No restaurant • Facilities for disabled guests – Forget using the garage or shower if you are in a wheelchair • Express check-in/check-out – waiting for 15 minutes on the street is not an express check-in • Breakfast in the room – None • Sea view – Not from the “1 bedroom apartment” • Hot tub – Not in the “1 bedroom apartment” Our recommendation – do not go anywhere near this place.
