Calidez en Malasaña - Nix

Céntrico, cómodo,muy tranquilo

Location - Madrid is very walkable and we didn’t need public transportation except for airport and zoo. It’s short walk from main shopping street gran via and even around the apartment it’s worthwhile to just wander around the narrow streets to feel the vibe. Many great places for brunch and specialty coffee.

When we arrived the window in living room was open and it was cold (January) - we were soon to find out that it’s broken and it’s not possible to close. At first it seemed it will be fixed soon - repairman came the same day and promised to come back the next day with new part that needs to be exchanged. However the next day and following days until end of our stay there was no follow up, no explanation nor compensation. Sheets for baby crib were also delivered only after our complaint. We would at least expect some discount or compensation - instead we got reminder to pay extra for crib (which we agreed to before). The window didn’t seem to be a new problem - later we found there were multiple traces of adhesive tape - the solution we were provided as well - and it was not sufficient for winter (we were there with two little kids and wind was getting through as well as noise making the apartment cold). Generally the apartment is worn out and could use more repairs and investment (eg fuse box blows when you use kettle and don’t turn everything else off - you end up in dark). Note for families - it has an elevator but it’s small and it doesn’t fit a travel stroller and the apartment is on a 4th floor - we didn’t mind but good to know.

Old furniture, not very clean. The bed is not comfortable.

Não tinha café da minhâ, porém estava ciente. O melhor é a localização. Prédio antigo como todos da região, mas o apartamento estava muito bem conservado.
