Loved the location of this, especially as it had parking. So close to everything as we did Windsor, Legoland and the Adventure Park at Savills Garden Centre. It had everything we needed and was a nice two night stay.

Overall we loved everything but if you’re in for the night watching tv, I would say that the sofa and chairs aren’t for lounging around on, slobbing with a movie. Bed are super comfy though so always another option.

Garden needs some maintenance the sofa was lovely looking but uncomfortable the shower kept going hot and cold the floors were filthy even though it was meant to be a no shoe property.

Overall we enjoyed the stay. The location is good for Windsor but is not in walking distance for younger or older people. The beds are comfortable and the host responsive to issues. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom had some mini shower gel/shampoo which is a nice touch. Dining table a good size. It has been decorated with care and is colourful and bright. Easy walking distance to local shops and close to some good pubs and restaurants for eating out. Overall a good base for a very short stay to explore Windsor and the surrounding area or attend an event.

The front room furniture is style over substance and very uncomfortable, not a place to linger in the afternoon or evenings. Didn't try the TV due to the above so can't comment but the position is strange and would be difficult to watch from the sofa. No side tables to place drinks. It was noisy due to issues out of the host's control but be aware that at the moment there is building work next door but one which starts very early morning and the house is directly under the Heathrow flight path with very low flying planes at times. No furniture or storage in the bedrooms other than a bed, one draw in side tables and a small hanging rail. OK for a very short stay but not for longer. While we were there the shower screen was leaking and water went all over the floor creating a hazard when getting out. The host has promised to address this after we leave. The property was cold when we arrived and stayed so for several hours after adjusting the heat upwards. Needs to be set to a comfortable temperature before guests arrive otherwise it doesn't get warm until the next day. The original banister has been replaced with a rope bannister down a steep flight of stairs which is not ideal for younger and older visitors or anyone with mobility issues. As the bathroom is on the ground floor so this can also be an issue at night. Overall the property has the feel of having been set up to look nice for rental but never having been lived in nor checked properly between rentals to pick up issues and prepare the house properly for guests. Several issues but easily rectified.

Lock box easily located and code had been sent to me the day before. No problems accessing the property.

Check in time is 3pm and I confirmed we would be arriving at around this time with Tempstay. We arrived just before 3pm and did not mind waiting, the cleaners were still in the property and we couldn't access the property until about 3:15pm. The property information said we had access to Netflix but when we tried to use it - the owner had not paid for enough screens and they were watching something so we were unable to access it - not a huge problem but a bit disappointing when it's offered in the property information. On arrival, the floors of the downstairs did not look like it had been mopped, there were smears and smudges everywhere and the floor is filthy as all our socks became a dirty brown colour. The lights and ornaments are all covered in a layer of dust. On trying to find a glass to have a drink, I found that all the drinking glasses were grimey and I was not happy to drink from one, luckily there is a dishwasher so I was able to put all the glasses and crockery into it to be properly cleaned, but not what you want to do when you are on holiday! Entering the bathroom was no better. There was a stain on the floor which looked like something had been spilt and not wiped up and had gone dry and crusty. There were bits all over the floor, so again very clear that it had not been swept or mopped. The bathmat left on the floor is grubby and dirty, I was not happy to use it. On getting into the bath to have a shower that evening, I was horrified to see that the hair trap had been lifted and left in the corner of the tub and it had not been cleaned!! It was full of gunk and hair from the previous occupants! Disgusting! I messaged Tempstay immediately through the booking.com app and received a reply from Aly the following morning apologising and promising to "resolve the matter promptly" and asking for photos - I responded immediately as requested and have had zero response from Tempstay nor did they make any effort to rectify the situation.

|Location no issue, uber super cheap into town. Super clean, gorgeous decor. Quiet Good power shower Parking easy Loads of amenities around Sky TV was amazing

The only thing which I think needs looking at is the stairs. The lack of handrail bordering the room is not safe at all. We have young children and had to make sure we walked them up and down stairs

Lovely decor, perfect for a girly family get together. The free parking was very convenient and close to local amenities.
