NZThe home itself is well catered for. We bring some kitchen appliances to make life a little easier. The location is handy to Russell, and not too far from Paihia and Kerikeri. Being on the water is exceptional. You can fish off the jetty and paddle board around the bay. Other people find the Russell ferry too noisy. We love it! Very entertaining.
The property itself is great and has everything you need. The cost to stay however has doubled in a year. We stayed for 6 nights Jan 2025 and for 9 nights this year; unfortunately this will be our last stay.

AUNZRight on the sea and a private jetty to fish from. Lots of fish, although only a few were the right size, so most went back into the water. But the fishing was just great. The house had everything you would need.

lack of noise insulation from above apartment meant that we heard all foot movements , their conversation and bathroom activities. WiFi was very weak and intermittent.

On the 2nd & 3rd nights there were people upstairs - they may have been particularly leaden footed but we could hear them walking about a lot.
