The Nook- A Rustic Cottage in a Beautiful Village.

Very cosy and warm

The fireplace was stunning

Not the cleanest, the sheets didn’t look great. Advertised as a king bed and it was 2 singles pushed together in both bedrooms. No full length mirror. The post at the bottom of the stairs was wobbly and dangerous, the kitchen tap drips constantly, not enough seating in the lounge if you had 6 people. The one tea towel supplied needed a good wash, the dressing table in the master needed a good clean, the toilet seat in the en suite wasn’t fitted properly and moved when you sit on it. The shower door wasn’t easy to get in and out because of the small space.

Great location. Warm and comfortable. Great host - extremely helpful and accommodating.

Needed more wine glasses. Not suitable for people with poor mobility - stairs quite steep and no handrails.

Loved the cottage, met friendly host, put treats out for us, comfy rooms, well equipped a home from home, used the stove no problems, good tv channels and all sorts of games, books for evenings, thoroughly loved our stay, thank you!

Lovely quaint village and lots to see around - Wells, Cheddar etc. Great house - spacious for the 5 of us and well equipped. Full of character and loved the sitting room with the inglenook fireplace.

Nothing really - maybe a few more glasses and the dripping tap.

Wonderful house, clean, comfortable beds, fully equipped, atmospheric fireplace.., in the kitchen tea, coffee, herbs, etc.. besides, the owner left cookies and other snacks for us to welcome. I recommend it to everyone.
