Beautiful cottage. Ideal location. Very cosy and clean

The cottage was utterly charming and the hostess Marie as well. She left us a gift basket with wine and a couple of other useful items. The rooms were cozy and comfortable. The water was nice and hot for washing or doing the dishes. The dishes and silverware were plentiful and of good quality.

The only things I would say on the negative side are that the shower was strange and difficult to enter. One had to open the door in and then try to squeeze past it in order to close it. The location was far away from any restaurants or stores (5 or more minutes by car). Nothing was in walking distance.

Loved the traditional feel of the house and that it was clean and well equipped. Very comfy beds with plenty of spare blankets. Easy to get to lots of places and a lovely place to return to at the end of the day.

There wasn’t much outside space but that didn’t bother us.

Great location, quirky lovely cottage.

Only problem would be if we brought friends with another car parking would be an issue but fine for one car.

Good facilities, everything was there, lovely village.

Lot of dust and cobwebs, shower not very clean. No information on where to leave rubbish. Floors dirty. Strange smell in lounge. Bannister uprights on stairs not legal width apart, dangerous for small children.
