Beautiful hotel and very pleasant ambient. Excellently restored structures done with very good taste. A few tips however that we would like to make simply to help the hotel manager improve service and not receive complaints. We are in the hospitality business so we understand the importance of ensuring that guests have a pleasant and happy experience and that negative points are firstly identified and later addressed. Here goes first was the early check in. We were delighted to be able to check in early but nobody told us there was an extra charge for this. We learnt later. Secondly, please don’t make such a large fuss about pool towels which are accidentally misplaced. My wife faced the “inquisition” because our pool towels went missing. My 8 year old (or possibly myself or my wife?) must have forgotten a towel by the pool. Ok, our fault. Lapsus on our part. Our holiday state of mind caused us not to be 100% careful with the towels! But we were made to feel like thieves. We were stopped at the hotel’s exit door with stern demands to explain what happened to the missing towels. These towels must be very precious! We explained that we must have inadvertently forgotten the towels by the pool. We even offered them to check our luggage when it appeared that there was some doubt lingering in the air of our version of events. Anyway I did my best to turn it all into a joke but my wife felt insulted and we left on a somewhat sad note. Pity the hotel was other lovely.

The staff should explain all expenses BEFORE the service is rendered. Policy to return towels to rooms should be clearly posted.

Einfach ALLES! Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln. Man sollte nur ein Auto dabei haben, 5 min bis zur nächsten Ortschaft. Wer jedoch Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Eine kleine grüne Oase mit viel Charme und mit wunderschöner Anlage in der etwas kargen Landschaft. Von außen recht unscheinbar, jedoch innen wunderschön. Alles sehr gepflegt bis ins Detail, alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr bemüht, bis hin zu den Gärtner, die die Anlage und Pflanzen mit Herz pflegen. Der Pool ist auch gepflegt und wunderbar zum schwimmen oder auch abkühlen. Frühstück ist sehr lecker, mit selbstgebackenen italienischen Kuchen und Kleingebäck, Schinken, Eier, Käse und etwas Gemüse, Müsli, Cornflakes, genug und sehr lecker zum satt werden! Das Zimmer ist sehr außergewöhnlich u d hat viel Charme, sehr gemütliches Bett, einfach Spitze! Massage war erstklassig, unbedingt mal probieren!

Das Hotel Pietra d'acqua hat in allen Punkten unsere Erwartungen erfüllt oder übertroffen. Die wunderschöne Lage mitten auf dem Land und trotzdem ist man in wenigen Minuten am Strand oder in einem Restaurant. Das Design ist wundervoll, ebenso die Sauberkeit und Herzlichkeit des Personals. Ganz besonders unsere liebe Roberta, die uns bei Frühstück jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen hat. Grazie mille, Roberta!

Unser Zimmer 118 hatte leider kein Fenster, welches man nachts öffnen konnte, um auf die Klimaanlage zu verzichten. Es war kein Problem, da die Klimaanlage leise war und super funktioniert. Trotzdem wäre frische Luft schön zum Schlafen.
