The Farmhouse Inn & Kitchen, 2 blocks from Downtown Whitefish, Montana

I love this property. This is the third time I’ve booked my stay here. The first time was great. The last two times booking said breakfast was included but it was not. Big disappointment because the girls doing breakfast did a great job. The bathtub stopper did not work. So that meant inserting a towel over the stopper to try to fill the tub which took a long time and wasted water. I told the girl doing laundry about it on my way out. I’m sure she passed it on. The property in general feels a little tired. Could use a deeper cleaning. I replaced the dead Lillies in the kitchen with some fresh sweet peas. All the little things make a difference. 🪷 By the way, the booking appears under the name of Christa who is my daughter and lives in Whitefish. My name is Shalimar Luciano. Very cute, great location and we loved the bathtub.

The location was great and the room was charming, happy and clean.

I was very disappointed in our breakfast. It wasn’t as advertised on the web. No great coffee and no hot gourmet breakfast. I appreciated the cold options but it didn’t meet the expectations. I felt it was overpriced.

Nice decorations inside and nice location. Walking distance to downtown and train station. There is a nice coffee shop on the ground floor.

The listing said “breakfast included”. Breakfast was self-serve instant oatmeal, juice bottles, and granola bars. It could be that we were before high tourist season, but I was expecting more from “breakfast included.” While there was a coffee shop, we only had Keurig coffee since we did not see any staff during our stay.

Very overpriced for what we got - $360 per night total for a small room in a renovated house. Should have been more like $200. Included a $25 Resort fee when in no way did this provide any resort amenities. No one on site. Breakfast was do it yourself using food in fridge. Coffee pot set up was in our bathroom - not a great location

Very cute and clean. Quiet location close to everything downtown. Room was extremely comfortable.

The listing advertised an on site restaurant and breakfast. It was not until after I booked that I learned the kitchen was closed. I was really really disappointed and felt like a listing for this type of property should have been honest and updated. The onsite eating was the reason I wanted to book.

Beautifully renovated little farm house with very tasteful decor. Well located near the center of town.

Though lovely, the room was too tiny for 2 people to each have an open (small) suitcase and be able to move or sit. It would be fine for one person with a backpack. The construction across the street is a distraction, but the Inn owners can't do anything about that. For "breakfast included" I would have expected that there would have been something more than a few packaged self-serve items available. Perhaps later in the season the little cafe in the Inn is open so that a fresh breakfast is offered, but it was not open in early June.
