Sun House Belem - Free Parking and View Tower

Very helpful owner. Ideal location. Easy to park and then use public transport to get into city centre. Belem tower short walk away. Pingu Doce supermarket close by. Apartment was well stocked with everything. Very homely. Spotlessly clean.

Too handy for Pasteis de Belem. Ate there three times - not good for waist line!!

Maria the hostess was great. She was always available and helpful with advice for tourists.

The bathroom design is terrible. The handbasin is so low that one cannot rinse your face without hitting your head on the mirror frame (which is thick). The shower sprays directly at the doorway of the open-door shower flooding the bathroom and wooden floor in passage. One small change in position would fix the problem.

Owners were waiting for us at the property and helped carrying luggage upstairs. Parking was on the street across the road. Walking distance to main landmarks. Tram stop was right in front of the door.

Photos on the site led me to believe the property was really modern. I would catalog this as a family pension, without any luxury and it was not cheap considering the ammenities. It could do better considering the location.

The apartment is well-equipped and in a good condition. Very friendly hosts, good infrastructure and nice restaurants within walking distance. We only had breakfast at the apartment and explored Lisbon and surroundings very easily from there by bus, tram and train.

We were surprised about the noise of the multiple tram lines that passed down the street despite of windows and roller shutters in the bedrooms.

Good location and host is very friendly and helpful. Well equipped kitchen with washing machine.

Double bed in main bedroom very small but there is another room with two single beds. Windows in bedroom facing a noisy road with trams running until late at night and from early in the morning. Very small TV

Everything was great!

Comfortable and well located apartment in Belem. Easy access to the city centre and other Lisbon neighbourhoods by tram. Easy to find a park outside on the street. We only stayed one night but would have gladly spent a few more nights here.

The apartment is very comfortable, silent and clean. Very important that there is a free parking and public transport right to the centre of the city. Beds are comfortable. A grocery store is also close to the apartment. In comparison to the city centre you don’t have to climb up the hill to reach a house.

No disadvantages.

A calm, secure and tidy area in which this beautiful appartement is located. The hosts/owners are very kind and helped us even with some private stuff. We enjoyed our stay here very much.
