Clean and well appointed. Even has back up Electricity

The apartment was clean, spacious and had a brilliant stoep for a braai. Close to all the local stores and shopping centres (Ballito Mall a mere 2 minute drive). Wonderful gym and Padel courts available at the site as well

There are other apartments extremely close where one could hear all members and families. Having a braai was great, but talking at a normal tone on the stoep in the evening drew looks from other residents indicating we were noisy.

The location is nice and top security. The host was friendly and helpful at the same time.

The following were displeasing 1. Access control issues when we enter and exit the estate, the host sent me the access link to upload my details however the biometrics was not working when we arrived. Sometimes it will work in the evening and then the next day when we try to exit then it will not allow us. This was really frustrating to now having to call the host while there's a long queue behind to ask for a code. 2. The apartment was not readily cleaned when we arrived. The lady was still busy amidst informing the host that will be arriving at 13:30. We arrived +30 mins later than scheduled time and the lady was still cleaning, wet towels were being dried up by the fan having been lined up on the bed. Dishes not packed away, the guest shower still had soap marks. I had to ask the lady to re-do it. I believe this would have been communicated prior so we arrange for a late check in to give the cleaner enough time to clean up properly. 3. Bedroom sheets had brown marks and didn't look thoroughly cleaned. 4. The blanket in the wardrobe made a funny smell I had to remove them from the rooms 5. The bedroom carpet in the guest bedroom also had a bad smell. I had to remove it and place it on the balcony. 6. The host should consider a repellent for ants that has been moving in the kitchen tops from the night we arrived. 7. Towels are old n hard and didn't smell fresh. Maybe getting enough towels to make up for rainy seasons too will help since the cleaner was using a fan to dry them up when we arrived. 8. Swabs are old and left particles when wiping maybe consider replacing them.
