Old Town Residence - Św Ducha Street

- location! Very central in the old town. - interior - kitchen with facilities - good heating for the winter

- irregular hot water. Couldn't shower as there was no hot water coming out. Sometimes there was also no hot water coming out of the taps. Luckily our stay was short and we showered ELSEWHERE. - no proper curtains in the bedroom so all the light is let in. - dirty towels; there were stains on them. - paper thin walls/no soundproofing as you can hear everything from the neighbours - uncomfortable sofa - the building looks very run down inside and in big need of renovation. No elevator so you have to walk up about 4 floors

The apartment was central

It was a bit noisy. It was someone else who where living in the apartment beside. who where complaining about sound when we where only watching tv an talking they where comming and knocking og the door and ask us if we could be quiet 19:00. And we where awake by there kid 06:00 in the morning. And i got a phone by the woman who where owning the apartment an she said to me the neighbor has ben complaining on us and if they got one more complaint they would call the police so we where staying there as 4 days and where afraid to be there.

The design of the apartment is beautiful, the layout is so cute and it's really homely. It is well furnished and we felt very at home. The location is AMAZING! Right in the middle of the main town, close to everything and not too noisy at night. It made for a really lovely stay in Gdansk.

The bathroom isn't in the apartment, it's off the communal landing, and although it's designated for Appt A, it is locked with a front door key, so both apartments can access it. Crossing the communal landing after a shower is very awkward and walking across the dirty floor is not very nice. Two appts sharing technically one apartment's worth of space means that it is very noisy when both are occupied. We had 2 great nights before neighbours moved in and ruined the rest of our stay. The duplex nature of Appt A is very cute but the ladder up to the main bedroom is very dangerous, extremely steep and painted with high gloss paint. We didn't use the main bedroom because of fear of slipping in the dark when trying to get to the bathroom. There are approx 78 stairs to get to the apartment which ended up grating on us when carrying our child, pushchair etc...it's not really suitable for young children, just FYI!

I didn’t realise that the bathroom was outside the apartment in a shared foyer, the shared foyer had a very strong smell of cigarettes. The bedroom in the attic space had low ceilings you couldn’t stand up straight, the stairs to the attic space were extremely steep and narrow, and slippery in socks

Very nice, modern apartment in the centre of the Old Town. All the major sights as well as restaurants, cafés and bars are within walking distance from the house. It has a really nice size, comfy beds and a fully equipped kitchen. One side faces the street with a bar across the road. On weekends there are part goers outside until.late at night. With the windows closed it didn't bother us, as the windows are well insulated. The other bedroom faces a quiet courtyard, from which you also enter the building. The hosts were very responsive in advance of our stay when we had questions. It is self-check-in which was handy for us, as we arrived late in the evening. The instructions were super easy to follow. We were extremely happy with our choice and would definitely recommend the apartment!

We were missing a kettle for making tea and some kitchen towels, but those are just teeny tiny minor complaints. It is on the third floor of an old building without an elevator. This should be kept in mind when traveling with heavy luggage. Didn't bother us at all though.

Our apartment was not cleaned - we had to use other people´s bedsheets and had no clean towels. We arrived after 8PM and reception was closed, there were no possibilities to reach anybody, neither via booking.com. On top of that there was a dangerous gas leak in our apartment so we had to move to another building. For these inconveniences they only agreed to compensate half price of one night.

Top Location and very clean. Cooker was not working and when we contacted the property to ask what was wrong we got no answer.

Communication with the property was bad, we got no reply over a few days on things we considered urgent. We bought groceries to cook dinner only to realise the cooker wasn’t working and we received no reply or even an apology.
